Welcome to the inaugural issue of The Social Critic. We're glad you're here and we look forward to telling you what to do and how to live your life. The Social Critic will be investigating and evaluating what makes our lives so interesting and so amusing to make fun of. From evaluating the pros and cons of international hegemony to throwing up over the balcony, The Social Critic is not be afraid to go there and get the story.  It's like reading the New Yorker, only way better.  And you feel way more important and elite.

Who are we?  The Social Critic. 

Who appointed us?  We did. 

What do we do?  Whatever we want. 

Stories that need to be told.  Issues that society eeds to face.  We'll go there girlfriend.  And we'll make fun of it every step of the way.  In fact, we'll make fun of it all, while inadvertently highlighting the very essence of our human experience and the daily struggle to find purpose and meaning in the physical existence of life. The Social Critic is the web's home for academic theory, political discourse, ultra-serious investigative reporting, celebrity fashion extras, and a running narrative interpretation of society.   Welcome to class, take a seat.
